Question: If you've had surgical menopause both ovaries etc. removed, will menopause ever end? I wonder because isn't menopause about getting used to the lower levels of estrogen. Well, with surgical removal, there is no estrogen left. That's my biggest concern. My doctor (oncologist/gyn; I've had ovarian cancer) just shrugs when I ask. I weaned myself off HRT and now have a lot of symptoms. Some of them such as heart palpitations are really scary. What are the most common symptoms on this board and what do you feel is your most annoying/scary symptom? Thanks for any response.
