Just something I wanted to pass along in case it helps someone. I had a lot of trouble with vaginal dryness and was using KY Jelly (as is recommended by my OBGYN) and KY Jelly Liquid. I felt a burning sensation whenever I'd have intercourse (excuse the graphic nature of my comments). My OBGYN said I was just too dry or I was having an allergic reaction to the KY jelly. I thought for the longest time it was just me. Turns out I read the ingredients on KY Jelly and it has an ACID listed!!!! NO WONDER!!! I found a product called "Astroglide". It has NO ACID! It has worked wonders and has been what my husband and I lovingly refer to as our WONDER DRUG!!! Hope this helps someone!

Where do you have to go to purchase this product?

KY is horrible. After a while it gets sticky and gluey. Leave it in the gynecologist's office, don't bring it in your bedroom.

My favorite one is called Silke - it is made by KY but it doesn't get sticky like the plain KY. You can get it just about anywhere, my grocery store carries it, Walmart, Kmart, just about anywhere. It is in the feminine hygiene department.

Astroglide is also available at drugstores. I've never tried Silke, but I've heard it's good too.

Virgin Olive Oil is also good.

I've never had any kind of problem with KY. Works fine for us!
