I think you need to talk to your doctor about going on to Glucophage/Metformin. I have normal glucose levels but my insulin is also high, I was put on glucophage and now my insulin levels are normal.

Good luck

Your Doctor was wise to test your Insulin. Many Docs are ignorant about this.

You need to go on a low Glycemic Index diet. Southbeach is a good one. Try eating low glycemic index foods... exercise and get put on some Metformin,Glucaphage or Janumet.

I am on Janumet because the straight Metfromin gave me digestional problems. I feel 100% better since going on it and have lost weight.

Good luck...... You have Insulin resistance that goes along with PCOS.

i need help understanding what causes this? is it my diet or a faulty pancreas or something else

what tests do i need to get done to find out the cause of my high insulin

i need to lower my insulin but not my glucose but would prefer a natural way if possible

i have many other problems because of the high insulin like hormonal/insomnia/lots, but if i can get this under control i think the rest would fix

thanks
