Hello, I am new here. I am glad to have found this message board. Hopefully, people come here regularly so that we can help each other. I will be 55 in January and I have been in menopause for 7 years. I have been through the entire gamut of menopausal symptoms. Most have settled into livable levels except for the sweats. I am also on Cymbalta for fibromyalgia and excessive sweats is one of the side effects, so that doesn't help.
However, what I wanted to ask about is has anyone experienced burning in your belly and lower back? It's not painful, but it does burn like fire at times. If I lean into a counter or something with my belly I can feel it, but I feel it in my back independent of leaning into anything.
I have just had my yearly checkups with an ultrasound to check my ovaries as well. Everything came back normal.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
Pam
