Hello. I am 37 years old, married with two children. I was hoping that someone may have experienced some similar symptoms and can relate to my story. About a year ago I started to experience discharge. I have always been very fertile and during ovulation always had normal discharge; however, I knew something was different. This discharge was and is constant; it no longer matters if I am ovulating. Then came the longer periods, usually I have always had a normal cycle of 28 days. However, now my periods last as long as 7 to 10 days with intermittent spotting and large blood clots. I also gained 10 pounds since this has started, my waist has expanded. I brought this to the attention of my doctor and several tests were done. The pap smear was normal, thyroid test showed normal levels, STD test normal and vaginal ultrasound showed no fibroids but did show a thickened endometrial lining at 14mm. Then came the biopsy. I was expecting some discomfort; however, I felt nothing during the test. I did not feel anything; it was like it never happened. I don't know if this is good or bad. The doctor was able to get a good sample and now we wait for the results.
