I had an ultrasound which came back inconclusive for PCOS. I'm wanting to have more testing done, but for some dumb reason, I decided to put it off. I went ahead and went on birth control pills to help regulate things. I'm going back to the doctor in Novemeber and will probably get the testing done then, BUT being on the pill, will tests like FSH be accurate? I mean the pill doesn't affect the levels of hormones that need to be tested for a PCOS diagnosis, right? I admit I'm not sure what all they test.

u need to have a pelvic ultrasound that shows your ovaries having cysts. Also normal to high testosterone levels and insulin levels in a blood test may turn up.
