I'll start from the beginning since I deleted my last post.

I have had a lump near my groin for about 7 months. Never hurt and thought it was a hernia so didn't think much of it.

After some lower back pain I went to the emergency room and was told it was my lymph node.

I was told that they may remove all of it or some it.They removed the whole lump (was about the size of a golfball)
I won't get the results for a week (tuesday).

Ever since the surgery I have a spot on my leg that is 100% numb. It's a small spot but feels real weird.

Any thoughts on my situation?
I don't think I have Lymphoma as I have no other symptoms. But I was told it's not a infection or a cyst.

Thanks in advance

Just want you to know that I am going in 2 weeks to have a lump in my groin removed. same as the one you described, golf-ball sized, mine 's been there 9 months, mine's actually fixed to muscle or something in there. My doc told me he's highly suspicious of lymphoma and he considers me a "very healthy young lady", despite all my health complaints over the last year. PLEASE keep us posted about the results of the biopsy. since I can't find information on any othe disease but cancer involving a massively large lymph node. your optimism is very uplifting :) best of luck.
ps- my doctor told me there is a very good chance of losing some sensation to touch in that area after the surgery which might come back, might not.
