I can feel two firm, not rock hard, mobile (rolls under finger), nontender, smooth, pea-sized lymph nodes on my lower posterior cervical chain on the left side of my neck, right along the lower anterior border of the trapezius. I am 25 years old. quit smoking 5 months ago, started in college but never smoked more than a pack or two a week. feels like a slightly irritated throat on the opposite side but only at times and has not been like that but for a week or so. As far as I can tell, I can feel no other nodes like this in the other areas or on the right side of my neck. Are these shotty lymph nodes, a result of infection, or do you think it is something more sinister?

Also, a couple weeks ago I visited the doctor for something unrelated and he took a CBC and complete health panel and everything came back normal. I have also had a flu shot recently.
