After my girlfriend and i had sex, my penis had a number of cuts or tears on the foreskin. I had a condom on and we where both lubricated. Can anyone suggest or help

I don't know, sounds like you have a minor infection which is causing the tearing. Time to check it out with a foreskin-friendly doctor. If he mentions circumcision (if you're in the US, seems to be a habit with them), find a more knowledgeable doctor. Until you know what is causing the tearing, it is likely to continue, and that can cause other problems, like scarring, and a tight foreskin.

Could be tears in the foreskin...Is your foreskin tight? Are the cuts on the frenulum? Frenulum tearing is pretty common.

Yeah, a tight foreskin will get cuts like you mentioned. Do some regular stretching and also stretch the foreskin out before sex/penetration.
