Hi. i am 20 years of age and am new to this forum, i have been very very concered about this topic lymphoma. i have been experiencing several symptoms linking to lymphoma such as chills ( that come and go), weight loss (around the neck and joints e.g wrist, elbows, knees, ankles) , swollen lymph nodes in neck ,armpit and groin for almost a year now and a persistant sore throut that i have had for about 7 months that wont go away also i have been experiancing lower back pain and a visable swelling where the pain is, this is becoming more and more of a concerned on how unwell i am. I have had many different blood tests and other tests such as a endoscopy and colonoscopy to rule out any other problems but they all came back normal. also i have had a biopsy (lymph node removed) on a lymph node in my neck that also came back negitive but i wasnt convinced on the node that they took out as this wasnt the largest node that i have in my neck and was definetly not the one i was most concered about as i have one that seems to be matted to another one and harder then the one that was taken out. also new lymph nodes keep poping up mostly in the neck that are not painfull.

i am now wating for a C.T scan and im terrified on what might be found. if anyone may have any ideas of the possibilties of what i may be looking at please place a reply as i am extreamly concerned and am getting no answers.

thank you very much for listening and hope to here back from someone soon.

Hi,

I had lymphoma and did not have any of those symptoms. If you have had all those tests and they are negitive, I would not be worrying too much about lymphoma. Is your Doctor concerned it might be? It really does not sound like you have it but in the event that you do, you are talking to a lymphoma survivor so don't drive yourself crazy with worry!

Good luck.

thanks for your feedback so quickly i much appreciate it. I have now had my c.t scan and that was fine but i am still very concerned that the doctors might be missing somethink as i am still very much having symptoms! the most worrying symptoms for me is the amount of muscle mass that i have lost in the last 4 months witch is most noticable in my feet, hands and face also the lymph nodes in my neck seem to be getting bigger and more are appearing, there feels like there is one matted to another witch does concern me alot! the thing is that i have had these nodes in my neck and armpits for well over a year now and have just been gradually getting bigger but the doctors dont seem to worry!! could they be missing somethink here? shell i push for another biopsy on lymph node?

anyfeed back would be great. Thank you.
