Does anybody know what kind of MD to see for recurrent miscarriage? I can't seem to get past the 8th week. Is that infertility? Does recurrent miscarriage count as infertility? Because GETTING pregnant isn't the issue. It's just the staying pregnant problem.

you want to see a perinatologist. usually you need a referral from your ob or md. they can run tests on you and your husband to see if they can find any problems.

You might have something as simple as a progrestone problem or a blood problem, both of those can easily be remedied. See a doc soon.

josie- i really dont think you ever really "get over" a miscarriage. it is really a long and rough road emotionally. it takes time to heal. i have had 3 losses, the most recent this past halloween night. i am still going through it both physically and emotionally. i find that it helps to have a good cry now and then. did you have a d&c or did you m/c naturally? i chose to m/c naturally, which is why i am still physically going through it. i found that it is helping with closure.
i wish you well ttrying to find closure.
