Is this serious?
In what sense do you mean that your IQ is lower? If you're really worried, you can get it checked out by an organisation like MENSA, although I'd suggest that you save yourself a lot of time and money by not bothering. Enjoy your body, and ignore those people who try to make you feel guilty for masturbating.
Honestly, there is no scientific, or even circumstantial, evidence to show that masturbation has any effect on your IQ whatsoever. There may be people who will lead you to believe that this is true (it's a trick which has been used by elements of Judaeo-Christian society for over two millenia now), but do you honestly believe that having sex with your hand instead of a woman is likely to destroy your cognitive functions?
Masturbation is a perfectly healthy, fun, and natural way to relieve stress and sexual frustration. Just go with it, and don't believe any of the mumbo-jumbo you may get about its effects on your health. Believe you me, if it did lower your IQ, the entire male population of the world would be in a permanent vegetative state by now.

If masturbation raised your IQ, the world would be full of geniuses ;)

There is absolutely NO correlation between masturbation and anything really, especially IQ. After more than 30 years of enjoying it, I can truthfully say my IQ hasn't changed one bit!

If you never laughed so hard you should check out "true story" in the Sexual Health - General forum.
But this is good too.

The only way masturbation can lower your IQ is if you spend more time masturbating then studing your school books. Yeah sure you can become a very dumb person if you spend all your life sitting in your room spanking the monkey rather then be out experiencing life and learning new things. Everything is good in moderation. Too much can lead to trouble of somekind.

You obviously have your technique wrong. You're not supposed to bash your head against the wall in time with the stroke, you'll get a dent in your forehead.

LOL - if that were true, based on the number of times I've masturbated over the years, I would have an IQ of like negative 7,000! :D

Ahh, but evidence shows (well, at least I saw it on an episode of Seinfeld) that abstinance leads to a higher IQ. George became a genius when he stopped having sex. So the moral is, on TV anything can happen but this is real life.
Although...
I have noticed that when I still have sex, yet content myself with ingasms (no ejaculation) that I am able to concentrate easier and seem more focused.

Focus is about right. If IQ is reduced by masterbating - say 1% for each time - me being 65 and assuming I started at 12, that would be 53 years of masturbating, on average, 4 times a week ( twice a day or more as a teen down to several times a month now) and assuming my IQ was 110 when I started, My IQ now would be somewhere around minus 1100. And, no, you will not get acne from masturbating and, no, your penis will not get smaller or fall of. In fact, it will probably get bigger
