Hello Im 26 and have three kids..recently just had my third a month ago. After the birth of my second I was told I had anxiety disorder GAD. The thing is there were no test to rule out MS then other then blood work. Anxiety runs in my family but after the birth of my third baby a month ago I dont feel right. My symptoms are numbness and tingling in my arms legs and mouth, muscle weakness all over...not servere. Lightheadedness, vision problems, and feeling of something in my throat 24/7...I also have GERD which might cause that. Im sooo scared cause a friend of mine had a baby two years ago and was diagnosed with MS right away. She uased to fall alot and I have never did that but scared all the other problems Im having. HELP! My symptoms are 24/7 and dont go away. Can you relate?

I had anxiety after losing my Mom and brother within 3 yrs of each other. I had numbness in my hands and feet. I also had the weakness feeling, vision problems, I was lightheaded, I was also very on edge, along with other stuff. I wasn't diagnosed with an anxiety disorder but with "stress due to bereavement", and had anxiety symptoms because of that. Did your Dr go over anxiety with you? or suggest therapy or any type of relaxation techniques? There are alot of great books out there on deep breathing and positive self talk. You are not alone, believe me! It's been 2 yrs for me and I'm doing great with an occasional bad day. If you're not convinced you have anxiety you should talk to your Dr or even get a second opinion. The sooner you know it's anxiety the sooner you can start to manage it. Good luck!
