Sometimes when I just have my eyes open, I see these shooting star type lights on the outer edges of my vision. They catch me off guard all the time because all of a sudden, I'll see something moving, but it's not really there, it's just an illusion. Does anyone else experience this or know why this happens or what they are?

I see these when I turn my eyes in a certain direction I will see stars. I don't know why this happens but it is normal.

Yes, I also get this. Freaks me out when it happens! It's a side effect of medications most likely.

i get this aswell, i got told it was eye strain, i use eye drops and it doesnt happen so often.
