Hi
I was wondering if there are any interactions known between alcohol and zoloft? I am on 25 mg and am worried about even having one beer.

Any advice from those that have had both would be appreciated.

Alcohol and other depressants may increase the effects of sertraline(zoloft) and may depress respiration and blood pressure

many people have a drink on zoloft with no problems, probably best to not drink for the first week when starting zoloft or other antidepressants

I am on zoloft, I can sip a glass of wine or two, with no problem, but I would never drink more than that at a time....Granted, I feel A LOT more intoxicated than I used to, but I also drink a lot less as well....I would try sipping a drink and see what happens....I waited for 3 weeks to try it....
