When I was younger, like 14 or 15, I had these weird thoughts rush into my head and then I would feel a wave of anxiety and would sweat and would take a while to calm down. I can't ever remember the thoughts but they were the same each time. I've been tested for epilepsy but everything MRI's, EEG's, etc all came out normal. Last year I had full blown panic attacks, heart racing, depersonalization, nausea, you name it, I had the symptom. I'm on Celexa and Klonopin and have not had these panic attacks for a year and have not had these weird sensations for about 6 years. Does anyone think these "mini attacks" were like small panic attacks? Anxiety disorders do run in my family....any feedback would be appreciated.

Hi,
I too get those waves. It feels like a thought, ,but I don't even know what the thought is. Just a feeling in my head like my thoughts are interuppted. Then it's followed by a wave of anxiety because I get scared and don't know what's going on with my thoughts. I have anxiety and a bit of ocd, so I dwell and dwell on what's wrong with me and can't find any words to explain it. I think it's a symptom of anxiety coming on, for me at least. Because the sensation will occur and then my anxiety gets pretty bad. Hope that helps!
