I am a 28 year old female with mother who has MS. Over the past 5 years I have had symptoms that have come and gone and then return again. I have experiences horrible bouts with vertigo, fatigue, and I am now experiences sensitivity to touch in my hip/side area on my left side and it seems to have a numb feeling. Also, throughout the day I experience many instances of pins and needles all over my body. It has worsened over the past weeks and the area where I am super sensitve seems to have gotten larger. My husband says my legs jerk all night in bed. A week ago I had paralysis in my lower right side of my face - it felt completely numb and even my tongue on the rigth side went numb. It was extremely scary. I am not sure what I need to do next. I am afraid to even mention any of these symptoms to my other as she is in the farther stages of the disease. It's just hard to sit here and have the same symptoms that my mother has had over the past 15 years. If anyone can shed some light on my symptoms or share similiar stories of these symptoms, I would love to hear from you Thanks for taking to the time to listen! It's a horrible disease... :(

I have had basicaly the same symptoms.I fall alot.Thank the good Lord I haven't
broken anything yet.I have awaken to find I couldn't move my arms or legs, thats a scary feeling, but it seems to wear off after a while. I constantly have pins and needles and burning up and down my spine.
My doctor put me n tegratol for that.I have to take zanaflex for spasticity, and
I'm on methotrexate[chemo] to try to slow the progression down.I tried all the injections but had adverse reactions to
them.This is a strange disease,you never
know what to expect.I've been having a
spell for over a month now,I have took two rounds of steroids and it hasn't helped much at all this time. Maybe today
will be better.I hope this lets you know
your not alone in this fight. There are alot of us out there and we are all working toward the same goal, to beat this thing. And alot of faith in God helps
tremendously! Let me know how you are doing.
