Hi Im 39 years old and this week had 2 migranes which I never have . The next day I had tremors in my left hand. for a year I have had pins and needles in my arms legs and face, sometimes for no reason Ill wake up and the arm or leg Im not sleeping on has fallen asleep. I have had 2 days that i coulnt get up because I was so dizzy. some times lately I have had visual disturbances also fatigue and warm wet sensations on my leg or arm. even feels like I have an ice cube melting on my head and running down my face or that im bleeding under the skin they are wierd sensations and Ive always thought of them as anxiety problem .I am getting more and more forgetfuland some times it is hard to put my words together.(but not often)the pins and needles are daily. The tremors are new and I feel very shaky today.
Im going in for a mri monday.what do you think????

It sounds like MS, but one of the really fun parts of this disease is that it is sometimes difficult to diagnose, and shares symptoms with many other medical conditions. You might have several different problems whose symptoms, when combined, sound exactly like MS. It sounds to me like you're looking for someone here to say "Oh, the symptoms you describe mean you do/do not have MS", but we can't realistically (or competently) do that. I'm sorry you're having these symptoms, I know personally about some of them and they are not fun. I think you should try to stay physically cool, as I know getting hot makes my body go bonkers, and if you have MS, it may keep you from experiencing some of the junk that you're dealing with. I remember what it felt like to not know; I was DXd about 5 1/2 years ago at 19. It was scary and frustrating and a host of other things that I am unable to write about without using language that would get me kicked off this board! ;-) Good luck to you. I hope that your docs can give you definitive answers quickly. Lean on your loved ones, as this is one of the times you will need them, but don't expect them to fully understand unless they have/had a serious medical condition. It's not that they don't want to or don't care about you, it's that they have no personal experience and they CAN'T. Anyhow, try not to dwell on the possibilities too much. Answers will come in time.

Anyone else care for clices and platitudes? I have plenty for all! :-)

Seriously, reJoyce, all that I've written is true based on my experience. I hope your symptoms go away forever and your docs are puzzled. Take care,
Jason

Hello Joy, I have been DX for almost three years now. I have all the symptoms
you have descibed. This morning both my arms were numb and I had that wet damp
feeling. I have the pins and needles
feeling to. But I have alot of pain in my spine and down my legs aall the time. I've had this since I was a kid,but no one knew much about MS then.[I'm 38 now]
It's frusting when you know something is
wrong with your body and no one can tell
you for sure what it is. I wa fortunate
enogh to find a neurologist who didn't
quit until he knew for sure. But like the other reply said it could be a number of different things wrong with you. I found
you have to have alot of faith in God to
help you through it. My thoughts and
prayers are with you.Let me know what you find out.

I am so glad to read your description of one of your symptoms as, "it feels like an ice cube melting on my head". What a perfect description for that wierd sensation. I have been trying to figure out how to describe that one to the nuerologist. Thanks and good luck.
