How can one tell whether or not they have MS or Lymes Disease when they have such similar symptons--the each doctor has diagnosed each of those. But how can you distinguish the difference between the two?

I'm pretty sure there are blood serum tests which can help indicate lymes disease. I'm thinking, that although the symptoms are similar, there are many differences between MS and Lymes. I don't think Lymes results in damage to the nerves myelin sheath coating so brain and spinal MRI showing lesions would be indicative of MS rather than Lymes. Also, I believe an analysis of spinal fluid can further confirm MS. Both diseases are largely diagnosed by symptomology, but there are many more tests that can help confirm one or the other. A qaulified neurologist is the person to see regarding this diagnosis.
