How do you know when it's "fatigue" hitting you? I don't know if I am finally getting the dreaded fatigue I have read so much about or if I am coming down with something. I am recently diagnosed, been on Avonex for 2 months, and have felt pretty good until a couple of days ago. I have only had minor flu like symptoms from my injections that last about a day. But now I am really achy (injections are on Monday)- in my back, arms, legs and am extremely tired, yawn alot http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/yawn.gif but I'm not necessarily sleepy. I also have an empty "pit" feeling in my stomach. It is so hard to describe these weird MS feelings, but I am hoping someone has had these feelings and can clue me in. Of course these things always happen when my neuro is out of town.
Frustrated!

Hi Jan- Ihave been on avonex for 2 yrs too. If I forget to take 2 aleves I get very achey. But nothing if I take them. Aleve is the only thing that helps. But a good possibility a cold or flue? Also if I do anything physically out uf the ordinary like pulling weeds or digging The few days I can feel that way too. Hope you are feeling better

Thanks for replying. When I get new symptoms I tend to freak out a little. My husband had just gotten over a cold thing and was concerned he had shared his germs. I'm glad you mentioned pulling weeds, because I had been doing that. I must have over done it. It is so hard to know where my new limit is. I used to be able to work in my yard all day, but now I spend about 45 minutes in the evening out there and I'm pooped. Talk about frustrating! Vent! Vent! Vent! I guess I will just keep the weeds and tell everyone they are exotic flowers. HA!
I do feel better, thanks. After the third day things seemed back to "normal".
Hope you are well.
Jen
