After less than a year on Copaxone, my docotor has confirmed that I am have early onset menopause. My cycles began to screw up and I got hot flashes within 2-3 months of starting Copaxone. Apparently other people are suspicious of the copaxone since it is one of the FAQ's on the Copaxone web site, but the response is that there has been no connection made between Copaxone and the early onset of menopause.
Has anyone found any documentation on the frequency of this symptom? While the flue like symtoms are light with Copaxone, I am finding my overall health to be declining since there always seems to be another shoe dropping with another unexpected or rare or undocumented side effect. Anyone else experiencing this?

My mother has MS and she started going through menopause after she stopped taking copaxone. And she also got worse on it so that is why she stopped. And now she is having lots of strange symptoms never to be known to be caused by copaxone or the MS. So I think you are not the only one....
