ok, had weird symptoms for a few years, but nothing really remarkable...the usual ms type of feelings you read about. has anyone ever had:

COLD WATER RUNNING DOWN LEGS (IMAGINARY)
BUGS ON FEET AND LEGS (ALSO IMAGINARY)
TORTICOLLIS (NECK MUSCLE SPASM)
STUTTERING
COLD/NUMB BACK BETWEEN BLADES
FOGGY VISION IN L EYE HURTS TO MOVE AROUND
FEEL LIKE I EITHER NEED BIFOCALS OR NEW SCRIP FOR GLASSES
GOOSEBUMPS ON ONE PART OF LEG ONLY W/NO CAUSE
PAINFUL CLUMSY HANDS
ACHING LEG PAIN R LEG ONLY
FEEL LIKE I'M WEARING PLATFORMS
FEEL LIKE HALF OF THROAT IS NUMB
FLASHES OF LIGHT WHEN MOVING EYES
DIZZINESS OUT OF BLUE
WEAKNESS
CLUMSINESS AND "THE DROPSIES"
BRAINFOG
FEELING LIKE A BAND AROUND R LEG AT ANKLE

been to neuro once and he dx'd migraine syndrome and thoracic outlet sydrome (which i conceed definitely is present in l hand). my doc treats me almost like i have either munchausen sydrome or some sort of psychiatriac/imaginary list of maladies.

i was walking along the other day and my left leg just seized up...very painful, and the foot didn't seem to work momentarily.

went to the spa today to enjoy a massage and felt just awful after leaving...extremely dizzy, lightheaded, and weak.

i do have a history of anxiety disorder/panic attacks which started when i started getting these symptoms, esp. dizziness. currently not on meds.

how severe does it have to be to be taken seriously, because although this is unpleasant, it isn't disabling, and i wonder how do you get the doc to take you seriously?

Kristeen,
I see that a lot of people have read your post, but nobody has replied. Maybe they will after the weekend.
Anyway, I have not been officially diagnosed, but doc suspects MS.
I have, however, been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, of which I do not agree with.(But that's another story)
I have been "sick" for 5 years, and progressively getting worse and coming up with new symptoms.
I also have the "bugs crawling" sensation, only it is on my arms and hands.
I do have muscle spasms in my neck, I also have them in my back and legs and they are very painful.
I have recently started stammering over my words, not really stuttering.
My hands are also very painful and clumsy, I once told my doc that I was tired of waking up before my arms and legs do.
I do get the dizziness out of the blue, but I mostly get it when I am sitting or lying down. I feel like I am falling or teetering, not like the room is spinning.
I get the flashes of light in my eyes all the time.
My legs give out and I fall down alot.
And the thing that I thought was most interesting when I read your post was that sometimes I feel like there is a band around my leg, just below the knee. I just recently started to feel like a band around my arm, just below the elbow also.
I know the feeling of being dismissed at the docs. They look at you with a raised eyebrow when you read off a list of complaints. They make me feel like a drug addict looking for a fix, and that is not the case. If you care to, read my posts on this board and the fibro board, both are titled "Just Dx'ed, I do not agree"
Sorry my reply was so long, I get carried away sometimes.
Take care. I wish you all the best.
Michelle
