I noticed a mention of skin problems on another post here-the first time I have seen it mentioned. I was assuming that my skin problems were not ms related but maybe I am wrong.
My skin comes out in red blotches and sometimes weals regularly, every day I get some, usually itchy, any where on my body. After drying after a shower I am covered in blotches! They seem to be touch related yet can all be gone within an hour. Sometimes if I scratch my skin I am left with red lines that sometimes become weals, again gone within the hour.
Does any one else get anything like this? It would be interesting to know.

I have secondary progressive MS and have had the same skin symptoms for years. My symptoms increased after 40 and the red blotches now have bumps which are like pimples except that they are flesh colored and are hard. Also, my father and sister have the same symptoms you have. We believe that the problem is rosacea. This website looks to be very informative http://www.hipusa.com/eTools/webmd/A-Z_Encyclopedia/rosaceabasics.htm. Although, I must confess I have only gleened it.
