In every MS book I've been reading, they are telling me that mercury fillings can give the same symptoms as MS-fatigue, numbness, vertigo... just a thought, which I plan to look into since I have 3 mercury fillings

I recovered from my fibromyalgia symptoms (for the most part) after having my mercury-silver dental amalgams replaced, almost 10 years ago. It was a long struggle. I write about it from time to time.

What people have to know, is that there is more than just removing the poisons from the teeth. We must also remove the poisons that have been deposited in the brain, liver, and kidneys etc. After I had my amalgams removed, I found that the consumption of cilantro seems to help (a natural chelator). I'm still testing it out. And also time seems to be what is needed also, in absence of any other chelators.

How people are affected by these amalgams is not quite understood too. It depends on how many you have, how you respond as an individual to these, the type of amalgams, and how long you have had them (allowing for the accumulation of mercury and other metals). High copper amalgams that encourage more mercury leakage, are considered more dangerous.

I write this, so that MS patients don't expect an instant cure, if they have their mercury fillings (dental amalgams) replaced. There's a lot to learn beforehand. I would encourage everyone to read up about the subject - and find out about the latest information before doing anything. Research is continually going on....

For some MS patients, apparently (from what I've read) the removal of mercury-silver dental amalgams has been very helpful. Does anyone have a experience with this? After you had your dental amalgams removed, could you share with us your experience. Thanks.

:D It makes me crazy to think that it is not financially covered to remove these fillings! To top it off they're still using them, and on little kids. I am going to do everything I can to get coverage. I certainly can't afford it. Is finding mercury poisoning as simple as taking a urine test, or do you have to complete a series of tests? I'm due for an MRI scan any day now, but apparantly mercury poisoning can show lesions as well as MS so you can't tell what the diagnosis really is. Any ansers or suggestions would be appreciated

Readers, please be careful....

Some people would like to distort the truth. There are many articles out there that contain false statements. If you first read anything that states that mercury in amalgams is chemically bound and is stable in a typical dental amalgam, that is completely false. The mercury from amalgams leak continually. That has been proven over and over again. Remember, repeating false data and referencing it, doesn't make it true.

The facts are very clear. If you have mercury-silver dental amalgams, you will be poisoned with mercury. No-one on this planet will ever convince me otherwise. I'm one person that is cured. Urinary problems, headaches, lower back pains, shoulder pains, neck pains, muscle pains near joints, gum disease, loose teeth, and tingling on the end of my hands etc., are all gone. I'm continuing to improve. My steps with the removal of my amalgams, herbs, healthy diet, and exercise have all made a significant difference.

I was so sick, to the point of wanting death, that it is so disheartening to me, that anyone would publish such false data. Please research all sides of this issue. Thanks.

;)
Dear Rhody,
I intend to get these fillings out asap to rule that out as the cause of my symptoms. I'll let everybody know what happens including the cda and the ada.
Thanks for your concerns

Alginates absorb heavy metals like mercury and other toxins in the intestines where they have been secreted by the bile. As these alginates cannot be absorbed, they are excreted from the body, taking the mercury and other toxins they have absorbed with them.
