HELP! My 16 1/2 mo. old granddaughter has a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy called Spinal Muscular Atrophy(SMA)Type-1. The prognosis for this disease is death before the age of 2 years. She is getting progressively weaker and her specialist says that she won't live much longer. I'm despirate for any information on this disease including alternative therapies, herbal therapy, ANYTHING! If anyone knows anything about this disease, PLEASE contact me ASAP.
