Panic is a symptom of many things. Caffeine anaphylaxis, for one, causes panic attacks, which may be mistaken as anxiety induced panic attacks.

IBS is a symptom of caffeine allergy. Once all caffeine products are removed, and the brain and other organs readjust, panic attacks, and IBS syndromes vanish. Other serious symptoms: TMJ, headache, watery eyes, flu-like symptoms, ADD symptoms (lack of focus, PMS, sore breats with PMS. I am a survivor. All vanished with caffeine cessation

Hope this helps someone. God bless.

Thanks for the info. Its very interesting because I have been drinking large amounts of cafeinne for years and when the anxiety panic attacks started I found that I can no longer tolerate it. It does make everything worse.

If you lost tolerance to caffeine, there's a good chance you are intolerant to all products that boost your adrenaline level. In that case, you will experience panic-anaphylaxis when you come in contact.

Wow, that is some good info there Ragamuffin! I have cut out the caffeine as far as sodas and tea and chocolate. I pretty much know what drinks have caffeine, but are there any other foods that cause anxiety to worsen?
