I've been waking up at night with my left leg "asleep" and now have a constant numb feeling mostly in the front of my left thigh, some tingling down to my toes. This is very disturbing and scary to me. (Will this turn into loss of function?) My neurology appointment isn't until the 10th and I'm very anxious for information.

Not to freak you out, but i used the have a numb tingling in my knee which ended up becoming a loss of function of my quadricep. for 5 weeks it didnt' work. I also had the tingling in my toes. Your neurologist will have you do an emg and an mri to rule things out. My leg has regained movement but it looks like a pencil and is very weak. I'm scared it won't happen again. Hopefully you just have a pinched nerve giving you the tingleness. God bless and good luck. If you hvae more questions feel free to write back.
