I am 50 years old with Charcot Marie Tooth disease (CMT) Life has become totally miserable in the last year or two. The lower muscles in my right leg have atrophied and the right foot is in really bad shape. Arm & hand muscles are very weak also. I am in constant and agonizing pain and feel so very tired at all times.
If not for my wonderful husband, I don't know what I would do. He works 8 to 10 hours a day, 6 or 7 days a week and then comes home and caters to me. As I can only walk short distances now, he bought me a wheelchair so he can continue to take me places and "show me the world"!
Anyone else with this disease, please reply.
Thanks!
