found connection between hypothyroidism and neuropathy on pubmed.com...seems it can be affected with thyroid hormone replacement therapy, but my friend is already on synthroid (which only has T4)...perhaps a replacement with T3&T4 or a natural replacement would work. can't wait to tell him tomorrow!
