I had my gallbladder removed last november 2002 and
ever since then i have had 24/7 chronic upper
abdomen pain, it's a sharp pain (like someone is
pinching you all the time).
Would a EMG tell me if my pain is from nerve
damage from surgery??
All i have been hearing is that if you have
nerve damage in your arms or legs then you
have a EmG done, but i haven't heard anyone
here say that they had that test done when
they have abdomen pain.
I am 99% sure that i have permanat nerve damage
from the g/b surgery, but i just want
proof. No doctor can tell me the cause of my
chronic pain.
I am taking ultram for pain, but that doesn't help
with my 24/7 chronic pain. :-(
So could someone please tell me what kind of tests
that i can have done to test for nerve pain in my
upper abdomen area. Thanks! Kim
