On my continuing search for reason for my burning feet I have just been to a nutritionist & am on a 2 week course of supplements:
Okra Pepsin, B12, adreanal Lig, Lymph 11, Lipoben, Mercury Detox, Flax Omega etc etc - quite a regime! but refuse to accept painkillers are the only solution for this problem
Nutritionist's diagnosis is that I have possible blockages preventing me from absorbing the necessary vitimins etc my body needs - has anyone else tried this route?
My blood analysis showed everything was normal (incl B12 levels!) except for a positive for Lupus
Has anyone else had Lupus with similar symptoms to mine ie burning/tingling in soles of feet ?
I'm taking tramadol every 6 hours - does this have a side effect of making you very tired & listless?
On August 21 I see the orthopedist who I originally saw about my back. He sent me for an emg which was described by my pcp as of academic interest only . He has already said over the phone that I probably have p/neuropathy but that he needs to examine me again. Are there any questions I should ask him?
If he sent me for the emg will I also need to see a neurologist - or is the neurologist the doctor I saw when I had the test?
Any replies would be much appreciated - I have so much still to do with my life & cannot believe this is happening to me
