This is very confusing. I can have burning nerve pain but hardly feel it when I really hurt myself. Arms and legs have been covered with bruises this summer. But the actual moment of injury doesn't hurt like you would expect for such a cut or bruise to result.

Can the neuropathic pain block out real injury pain? My current meds don't have a blood thinning effect so I think these are real bruises I got the hard way.
