My daughter was diagnosed with Sensory Polyneuropathy.
Any body know what this is? My searches on line were a little confusing.

Polyneuropathy is a simaltaneous malfunction of the peripheral nerves and as you say it is sensory not motor, it would be the upper extremeties large fiber I think. I know I have polyneuropathy axonal, it is the nerves closest to the body, perepheral mean away from the body like arms legs and such. Hoefully you've gotten some answers from your Dr by now. Sensory is just like it says, senses, smell, taste, sight, sensations etc. Neuropathy is complicated, motor, sensory idiopathic axonal large and small fiber, you need to find out where hers is affected.
