My biggest phobias are NEEDLES, PAIN, PHYSICAL EXAMS(INCLUDING PELVIC EXAMS AND RECTAL EXAMS) and my fear is so bad that I haven't seen a doctor since '89 and I am 32 and haven't had a pelvic exam because I fear it so and I still haven't had my wisdom teeth removed because I fear the dentist. I guess the one thing that I tread the most about going to the doctor is having to take all my clothes off sure they give you a paper gown to wear but that doesn't cover much and there you are freezing to death and your exposed to a complete stranger and they just examine you without asking that is what ticks me off! That's why if I ever have to go to a doctor in the future I am keeping all my clothes on and I am never going to let them examine my pelvic area or my rear EVER! And what is the deal with the Tetanus shot every time that I went to the doctor they always asked me when was the last time you had a Tetanus shot, shouldn't it be my decision whether I want a Tetanus shot or not, next time I'm just going to say None of your business and leave it at that! Well thanks for letting me vent some stuff if anybody out there feels the way I do please send my an email I would love to hear from you and it would make me feel good to know that I am not alone. contact: honeybee_7@webtv.net

I'm scared of doctors too, but they are here to help. You should ask questions too and try to see if there are other way to take a exam. I would ask for DNA testing since it tells everything about you and just have to clip your nails, cut a small piece of your hair, whatever you feel suits you. Bye.
