ADD is not something that can really be cured so to speak but you can learn to live with it. As for taking medication for the rest of your life?? That is a decision only you can make. Many people learn sucessful strategies for learning to deal with there ADD and may find that they can learn to adapt without taking medication. For others they may need medication for most of their life to be able to function well on a day to day basis. Hope this helps some.

I strongly believe that many people on meds for ADD can be helped by reformulating your diet as I did. If you are really serious about it and want to feel better, change your eating habits to all natural products. Don't waiver even a little bit if you want to get REAL results. See my posting regarding helping ADHD Naturally.
I have been there and come back...I lead a normal life and am quite satisfied with how things have turned out.
After years of meds, my health was bad, I lived in a fog, and was really no better.
I am as close to 100% as a person can get now and am not looking back!
Good luck!
