I'm having one of the worst days today, the worst in a long time. My obsessions are screaming inside my head. I'm picturing these horrible things that I can't stop picturing, and all I can do is yell at it while I'm walking to and from classes today. I can't stand days like this. I feel like I'll never be forgiven by God for the things I've thought. I feel like I'm pervertedly enjoying my obsessions, or putting myself through with them just to feel like this. This is so terrible, and I need help so bad. What can I do?

I've heard of that technique too. Maybe I should try it some time.
Today is Saturday, and I'm trying to make it a "no prison" day, in that I do what I want and try not to feel obsessive.

I know how frustrating and agonizing those thoughts can be, I usually end up praying they're not true and then the prayer starts it's cycle in my head, where I feel the thought will come true if I don't pray. It's so frustrating! Just know there are others like you! I haven't figured out a way to stop my thoughts, my meds just lessen them. Are you on medication? Paxil is slowly stopping the multitude of thoughts, but not the magnitude. I hope you find something that works. Just remember that you survived that "worst day" and you can survive the next one!!!

Hello :)
Sorry you are having such a terrible day.
The thought that you are "enjoying" your obsessions is an obsession itself. It sounds like you are now afraid of maybe doing it on purpose and that could be a sin etc etc? Yuck sounds a lot like the obsessions I used to have.
Let me tell you something. GOD LOVES YOU. And He KNOWS about OCD. He knows you are suffering right now and all He wants for you is to be happy and to be yourself and to feel His love and pass it on to others. God knows that OCD thoughts are not a sin, and that obsessions about obsessions etc etc (about obsessions about obsesssions about obsessions...) are not sins either.
And anyway, if you were enjoying your obsessions, would you be posting on this board writing about how bad you are feeling today?
(((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))) ))))
A priest once told me: Those thoughts are just thoughts, we can let them pass by like a parade.
