Bickering over nothing

While re-orginizing my bedroom last weekend, I moved my bed right next to my window. Since then I have had the thought that I was going to be sniped while I slept since I was right by the window. Anyone ever have thoughts like these?

YES! i'm pretty sure i have OCD and i do have thoughts like that. Sometimes if its dark outside and the curtains are open, and i'm in the living room sitting down, i have a thought like -"i can close them later cuz i don't feel like it rite now" but then i have an urge to close them at the moment because i have a thought like "anybody can be sniping from outside". I live in maryland and the sniper attacks happened near where i live but i don't think that had anything to do with my thoughts about being sniped.
