Does anyone have any experience with stimulant meds for ocd??
I have experimented with the stimulant ephedrine which COMPLETELY RELIEVES my ocd and social phobia. Dexedrine is similar, but i have not tried it. But im assuming it would relieve my ocd as well.
I have tried all of the ssri's except for lexapro. All made me TIRED. They benefited me for a bit, but the sedation was overwhelming. Im assuming lexapro will cause the same side effects.

I never heard of anyone taking ephedra for OCD.
Yes, I think until you get use to SSRI's that they all make you somewhat sleepy.
I have took many meds and I am currently on Lexapro.
I started out with 20 mg. but it made me jittery and felt like I was going to jump out of my skin.
So my doctor said to cut down to 10mg. That's what I am curretnly taking now.
I can't imagine ephedra chilling me out...but hey if it works for you I would talk to my doctor then.
