farmstudent

I am currently a 3rd year pharmacy student and am looking for advice. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. First of all, I entered pharmacy school in August 1997. I had major trouble academically that year (failed about 4 courses). Then my parents decided to get me tested for ADD and I got diagnosed with it in summer of 1998. The following year (1998-99) I failed 1 class. In 1999-2000 I did fine in school, passing all of my classes. However last semester I failed two of my classes. I feel that I don't have too many more chances left before they kick me out of school.
I was wondering if there are any other pharmacy students out there (or pharmacists) who have ADD and are having or had difficulty in pharmacy school. I need some advice, to (1) help ensure that I pass these classes next time I take these courses, and (2) to ensure that I will be able to pass the pharmacy board exam. Most importantly, I also need some additional advice to (3) use this condition to my advantage so that I can make a noteworthy contribution to society once I enter the work force. A friend informed me that people with ADD are supposed to be more creative, however I just don't see how this condition will help me later on, because I honestly don't think I am that creative.
I have talked to some of my friends and one of them said they probably can't help me since they don't have ADD. I would greatly appreciate any wisdom and advice you can contribute in regards to this issue. I feel that the info presented in classes is just too thick and full of details and sometimes I don't know where to start. Thank you in advance.
