Hi. I'm wondering if this is OCD or not. I have thoughts come into my head which I cannot get rid of...unless I confess them.
I have this like commentary in my head thats constantly bringing me down....like for instance if I'm going to go get food I think 'will I ask my friend to go with me' and my mind has a thought of nah u dont want him to come so if u ask him to come then my obsession is "u have to tell him that u didnt really want him to come"...but then if I dont ask him to come then the obsession is "you have to apologise to him for not asking him".....this lose/lose situation is happening with things all the time.....and the only way to get rid of this obsession is to give in and confess whatever my mind is telling me to.....
Does anyone sorta understand whats going on? anyone experience something similar? Is this OCD?

Yup, I understand what you mean, I almost wince inside just reading it because I have had thoughts like that.

And yes, it sounds like typical OCD thinking.
