Hi,
Alright...
this is the thing
For years now I have had OCD and there is one thing I do that drives me absolutly nuts!
Its with my finger nails and toenails!! I constantly am applying pressure to my nails. It is so weird.. if I think about my finger nails or toe nails i have to PUSH on them really hard. It really makes no sence but if i dont push on them i just know I have to before i can go on with life!!! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/confused.gif Does anyone else have this problem?? its not just my nails, realy it anywhere that there is muscle mass too.. like that cartilage feeling place in my armpit and my calves!! ok ok so enough talking, i was just wondering if anyone else does this!!! It worries me too because I think its really a physical thing, but im pretty sure adn was told it is mental!
well thanks for listening!

My gosh, I do the same thing! I'll apply pressure to the areas you mentioned, flex my legs and calves really hard, put pressure on my teeth, etc.

I think your case is a bit more extreme than mine, as it has'nt ever been a big nuisance to me (I'm to busy obsessing over everything else, lol). But nevertheless, I do it often.

I think these sorts of things are common in OCD and you're definitely not the only one who does them.
