I was told that a person with osteopenia should not visit a chiropractor for treatment or adjustments, as it might be possible for the chiropractor to 'break my back'. Is this true? DO chiropractors treat people with osteopenia?

Think about it! My chiropractor won't touch me with a 10' pole when he found out I had osteoporosis and osteopenia. Consider they mess in and around the bones of your back etc, any good chiro would consider you a risk. That is if he is a good honest chiropractor.
