My 82 yr old mother is currently in the hospital with new vertebre fractures after a fall. We are considering Kyphonis surgery. Is anyone familiar with this procedure and what was your experience with it? It sounds very promising....

From what I understand this surgrey works wonders. The only risk is after having the surgrey you risk getting a fracture to the vertebreas above or below the first fracture.
