Hi I'm 48 years old. I started menopause at age 32 I just got through it at age 47 I used to be 5'5 now I'm 5'4 now. I'm evista, gaining weight and the hot flashes are back, not good. Is this part of taken Evista or is it something else? I'm So sad because I had lost 45lb and gained it right back. My Husband told me to that I was getting fat and I should stop eating I told him do you think I want to be this way.

I don't know what evista is. Is it another drug like Fosamax? The reason you are gaining weight is your hormones. The way to balance them out is to use natural progesterone cream. look at this web site for John R. Lee MD. He and other doctors are saying this is the best way to build back bone and help with problems of menopause.
