Well I went to a dr. yesterday that works with alternative medicine. He was recommended by a member. Anyway, we discussed my T scores and how I am not being helped by being on Evista and calcium. I told him that the Evista is agreeing with me and I do not want to stop it and I do not want to go on fosomax. He felt that maybe my problem was non absorption of the calcium that I was taking. He suggested a supplement of a liquid gelcap of calcium that incluldes mamy different ingredients that help the bones. I had to call a company to have it shipped to my house . I have to take it 3 times a day, which is really a pain. It is also quite costly. BUt, it this is my answer, then it is worth it. I just felt that I was doing something wrong with the calcium that I was taking and I needed guidance as to what to do. I hope that this will make a difference. If any of you want info, just ask and I will try to help with what I learned.

Yes, I'd love all the info about absorbing calcium you have. I think it is very important how and if we are absorbing and when we take how much calcium during the day. And what kind of calcium.

I am going to ask my doctor about the 24 hour calcium urine test to see how much I am absorbing. I hear it is easy (a drag but easy) and inexpensive, so worth taking.

Looking forward to hearing what you learned.

Also, would love to know name of place you went. It isn't in my area but I could drive there and can't seem to find a good alternative place nearby.

Thanks.

I am very interested in learning the name of the calcium you are taking. I was on Actonel for a few weeks, and ever since then, have had digestive problems. Most calciums are hard for me to tolerate comfortably. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Deborah,

Innovative Natural makes a liquid cal/mag/vit.D product that is very absorbable and gentle on the system. They carry it at health food stores like Whole Foods.

All the best,

Prema
