I've been previously diagnosed and prescribed Adderall for my A.D.D.. My latest preliminary evaluation also indicates OCD which is treated with Prozac.

Does anyone know if the drugs can be taken together to treat each disorder simultaneuosly?

It looks like you posted a long time ago and got no responses. My wife does not take Aderall, but does take Concerta which is another med. in the same category. She also takes Prozac for depression and seratonin regulation and has off and on for years. Does not seem to have any problems at all with the combination. Hope this helps some. Good luck.

I have taken adderall for a couple years now, and my dr. has just recently added prozac for anxiety and what she calls o.c.d. I was taking 20mg of prozac and she doubled it last week. I didnt notice the 20mg but I can tell I am taking the 40mg. I feel terrible. People/coworkers/family keep asking if I am sick. I dont even want to get dressed! I could care less if the sun doesnt shine! Anxiety, or whatever you want to call it, I can think of a few names, is my life. Without it, I am nothing. Just a pile mush I guess. Worrying is my way of "taking care of things" or controlling things I guess. I like it.

combining a stimulant and an ssri is common...and i have taken prozac, zoloft, celexa, etc. with my dexedrine but the ssri's made me feel like crap also. i switched to wellbutrin with great results but wouldn't recommend it because it could make your anxiety worse.
maybe trying zoloft instead of prozac...or valium or xanax.
when you say you feel terrible, what side effects are you talking about? fatigue, flu-like? those are experienced with prozac sometimes

Did you guys find that taking adderall/dexedrine along with an ssri like Prozac or Paxil, (you know, the major pack on weight ones!) help ward off the weight gain? Desperate to know. I just started zoloft and am dreading the weight gain. I also take adderall.
