You mentioned having surgery...surgery was what caused my problems. The scar tissue resulting from seven surgeries is impenging on the sciatic nerve causing excruciating pain - constant (24/7) burning, stinging, throbbing, etc. I have trouble sitting, walking, and don't sleep for more than 2 hours on average at a time most nights.
