I had an upper tooth pulled 11/02. 1/02/03 I ended up having emergency surgery for a major hematoma that developed due to infection. My face was so swollen and black and blue that it looked like I had been punched. A nasal anastomy was performed and I also had 46 stitches in my mouth. Ever since then I have had pain throughout the upper jaw bone that shoots to my ear and pains that surroung my right eye. At times the pain is unbearable. Also I still suffer from facial numbness and now I am starting to drool on the right side of my mouth. I cannot stand the pain any longer. I recently learned that the oral surgeon who performed the procedure is appealing the dental board in my state for 28 counts of misrepresentation. What is going on and can anyone help?

I'd strongly suggest you look up Trigeminal Neuralgia websites which it most sounds like(as I have a form of this in my lower jaw, paste this into your address bar for a tremendous amount of info;http://www.tna-support.org/
Also look up Myofacial pain syndrome sites, one being;http://www.fpnotebook.com/RHE71.htm.
Too late to find you had a dud for a Dr. The only comfort there is getting in with others probably sueing him for malpractice
