Has anyone else developed a headache from taking MS Contin? Quite truthfully, when he gave me the Rx on Friday, I just read "MS Contin" and did not know until I got to the pharmacy that it was morphine based. When I had my major surgery a few years ago, I had them take away the morphine pump because of the headaches. Of course I will tell my doctor that on Thursday. Are the other long acting meds also morphine based? Vicodin did not give me a headache.
