I have had 2 surgeries, the first to remove a benign spot from my lung. Two weeks after surgery, started getting chronic pain. If you name a doctor or specialist, I went to them over the last 4 years,,but pain, non stop, burning stinging pressure. Then last year had laminecotomy to remove damage and scar tissue, and this made me so much worse.Am allergic to most meds, and the only one that helps me just a little is Methedone. I am supposed to take 3 a day 10 mg, but am afraid to get hooked, so only take one a day.I feel as though I am burning up inside all the time. I can't be touched, I am so sore internally and externelly.
Has any one else had something similiar to this after surgery ??

Welcome, and I'm sorry you are in so much pain. First let me say, I think you should either try taking the meds as prescribed and see how it works and talk to your Dr. about your concerns. I'm sure he/she could put your mind at ease. I have not had the same type of surgery, but have suffered and still do chronic pain due to adhesions. Any surgery can produce adhesions anywhere in the body...sounds like this could be it(?). Hopefully you can get to the bottom of this...just know you are certainly not alone! I will pray for ya...let us know how you are k? Love, Surgical Disaster
